To keep on building IKOS’ growth and strengthen our engineering team in Belgium, we are looking for a Project Leader/ Site Manager who will work on major railway infrastructure projects. As a Project Leader/ Site Manager you will be in charge of the realization of railway (tracks, ballast, catenary, signalling...) projects.
- SPOC on site: follow-up, coordination
- Organize site in efficient and qualitative manner
- Order and supply of needed materials, tools,...
- Solve technical issues
- Inform, motivate and lead the site team
- Interface with the customer
- Negotiations, monitoring for scope/cost/schedule changes
- Project planning, definition of milestones, planning and budget monitoring
- Define, review and adjust strategies of the project as required to meet deadlines and contractual commitments
- Communication of project expectations to the team members and stakeholders
- Deliver project reports, progress reports, change proposals, and presentations to the management and internal/external entities
- Supervise and motivate the project team members
- Responsible for the delivery to the customer
- Your currently following a master’s Degree in Electromechanical, Civil, Construction, or Electrical engineering
- Excellent communication skills (professional and concise)
- Good knowledge of Dutch (>B2)
- You have a results-oriented mindset
- You like a practical and hands-on way of working
- Open to work occasionally, in case of important/interesting project activity, during night or weekend.
