IKOS is seeking Senior Signaling System Engineer with a deep knowledge in ETCS L2 (European Train Control System Level 2),
and keen to take part in an important mission in Portugal and be part of an amazing Team of people passioned about railway.

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETCS Level 2 signaling solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in signaling systems engineering, ensuring compliance with ERTMS standards.
- Work on system architecture, integration, and validation of railway signaling systems.
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Perform requirement analysis, system specification, and safety assessments for ETCS L2 projects.
- Support RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) aspects of signaling systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
- You possess a Bsc. or a Msc. Degree in Electrical and/or Telecomm, Computer Science, or related field (mandatory)
- Proven experience in Railway Signaling engineering
- Proven experience in ERTMS (ETCS L2)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- English speaking is mandatory
- Native Portuguese or Portuguese speaker a big plus!
