The objectives of IKOS Lab are to prepare safety studies and briefings, carry out advanced research in the rail and energy sectors, and to keep abreast of technological advances and arising strategic issues.

Examples of IKOS Lab projects:

  • IKOS has been funding a research program since 2011 regarding formal methods as applied to railway system specifications. The thesis is organized in partnership with the University of Sherbrooke (Canada) and Université Paris-Est.
  • Technological monitoring and market research were carried out on the North American market as part of the recent opening of our New York subsidiary.

  • An IKOS project that was selected as part of the Grand Paris project uses smart glass to help disabled or occasional users (e.g. tourists) to situate themselves in the Paris metro system.
